Detailing Services: The reputation of a fabricator has a direct correlation to the quality, accuracy, and completeness of their shop drawings. We take detailing very seriously. We have implemented 3D modeling and combined it with a little imagination and a lot of innovation. By inputting the building frame into the 3D Model, the detailer only need add specific information to the computer generated image of the work piece. In addition to the computer generated drawing, CNC data necessary for our manufacturing equipment is automatically created. This state-of-the-art use of technology insures the accuracy of the piece and the overall fit of the building components. Detailing is always on the critical path of a construction schedule. The tools that we employ and the experience of our detailers and checkers insure the quality of the shop drawings on a Hammert's job. We are implementing EDI to transfer project drawings to our customers, the design team, and our supplier/subcontractor partners. We use an FTP site as the host for the drawing transfers.
